Outlines and Organizers

What's the difference between outlines and organizers? Traditional outlines appeal to linear thinkers while creative thinkers are drawn to the shapes and/or colors of graphic organizers. Both strategies produce equally effective essay structures. What matters is that students are matched to the oraganizational method that best suits their thinking style.
